No news abt it. Guess TT issue may be the reason coz Madurai peoples are opposing for route via TPJ so it is on hold but not sure abt the exact reason.

No less quota issue. We don't need it via TPJ and it is extra travel time for us and have to pay more. If needed they can give separate VB for both else operate this VB from TPJ itself, MDU doesn't need a VB like this with too early departure. Why we should pay extra for a circuitous route and if this VB gets inaugurated as such then it's a total waste for Madurai. Hope Railways will think and proceed. Let's see.

Didn't expected that CDO would be Patna. But route is same what I suggested earlier. It will go via ASN.

When Patna Howrah VB departs at 8am morning, then why would people prefer this train? 70% route is also similar in Howrah Patna VB and Tata Patna VB.

And cost of ticket I think is too high. Its around 1400

Let's see what happens. According to my prediction, it will go via ASN. Because it will belong to SER and slot won't be available via gaya.
Edit-Even Purushottam exp/mahabodhi exp TT can also face some issues.
