This line would connect Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and other districts, improving connectivity and opening new possibilities for rail services. The request was based on the importance of the Kheda Brahma temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in Gujarat, and the lack of easy transportation between Gujarat and Rajasthan for people visiting the temple or for business purposes.
