Unhone Kursela-BihariGanj aur BihariGanj-Virpur projects pe update diya, par Kishanganj-Jalalgarh kam traffic demand ki wajah se ruk gaya hai, lekin new DPR taiyar ho rahi hai. Unhone Northeast India mein 18 rail projects (13 new lines, 5 doubling) ke bare mein bhi bataya, jinki total cost ₹74,972 crore hai (₹40,549 crore kharch ho chuke hain). MP ne minister se in dono projects ko jaldi shuru karne ka request kiya, kyunki yeh area ko Nepal, Bhutan aur Bangladesh se connect karega aur economic aur strategic development mein madad karega.
