Most probably overnight.. but wont be benefitted..
It will have less end to end pax if not run upto katra, if it runs only till jammu then it will be use by intermediate pax

You are right...in case it doesn't run up to Katra it might not be as fruitful... even then intermediate stations will ensure occupancy for this train. There are 8 (CDG/SASN, LDH, JUC, BEAS, ASR, BAT, GSP, PTK) big stations enroute and couple of them are not connected to state capital at all by rail. It will be first connectivity between them
It can run 6 days week as follows uptill Katra

BAT, GSP will get first time connectivity to state capital. Its high time railway think of connecting all left over towns of Haryana as well to Chadigarh. Even after 50 years of creation of haryana many of Cities of haryana are poorly or not connected with rest of India. Even whole big dist of Sirsa, Hisar, fathehabad are not connected to state capital.

Garib rath is the best train in this route with excellent punctuality and good maintenance. Comparing with humsafar ,garib rath is the best train in term of punctuality, maintenance, speed,price.I will still choose Nagpur pune garib rath in this route.
I think CR will withdraw Garibrath and replace the slot with Humsafar .... Policy to introduce Humsafar Exp was to replace all the Garibrath trains as Full AC 3Tier Passengers
Garib Rath should be continued. it is best... Every Rail Minister / Central Govt. comes with his/ its own concept train like Garibrath, Duronto and now Tejas, Uday Humsafar.... They will forcefully introduce new trains in their new concept... without thinking of what people need.... They do not have problem if the train run in loss
