3000 crs is little money in front 1000s of people safety. We cannot buy single life with this 3000 crs also right ??
But this feature of chain pulling is highly misused so railway decided remove it.
One incident happened with me i was travelling in bct-jaipur duranto my train was detained near vapi for more than 2 hrs as in next train some insane person was pulling chain for reason that he has to share his bearth with some passholders. Behind my train all other trains were detained including ahmedabad double decker and many other superfast trains.

आने वाले समय में रेलवे को MST holders के बारे में भी सोचना चाहिए जो reserved compartment में यात्रा करते हैं।

Could provide an alarm button which will alert Guard and LPs and should be a intercom inside the bogie. at both ends. That would be sufficient.
