Problem here is state can show profit only from roadways, state transport, private buses, tolls etc. They don't want to increase trains and divert public to railways, by reducing the road traffic.

During his tenure(Probably 1992), Mangala Exp was separated from Kerala Exp & made an independent train which ran from MAQ till NZM via PGT. In 1998, rerouted via Konkan & extd till ERS. RIP Jaffer Sharief.
