There are quite a lot of seats available from Mys. Have generally heard that the train is relatively vacant between MYS & SBC. But this quota system might end up benefiting railways as now passengers who want assured berths may book from MYS and put boarding as SBC/BNC etc. They end up paying more !!
It is Alleppey that falls in RLWL. You should have tried for SBC-KCVL.
Any destination from SBC is under RL quota.

Check current availability from MYS to ERS at 1000 to a certain the real demand. Any way MYS Bangalore will be empty as it's totally afternoon while others start at 1600

Don't propose all such extensions. It would be better to have a train from Kerala to Bangalore, Mysore and then to Mangalore. Say something like TVC ERS PGT CBE SA HSRA SBC MYS HAS and termination at MAQ. Something similar to Amrutha express TVC MDU via Kottayam Ernakulam Palakkad Palani. No PF issues anywhere in SWR as all maintenance will be at SR station only.
If it is so then
1 . KCVL - SBC ( via KTYM - ERN - MAJN - HAS - MYS )
2 . New KCVL - UBL Express ( via MAJN - HAS - ASK )
1 . KCVL - SBC ( via KTYM - ERN - MAJN - HAS - MYS )
2 . New KCVL - UBL Express ( via MAJN - HAS - ASK )
If kcvl train terminates at Bangalore, we will get odd timings. It would be better if it goes to SR somewhere. Even a Kannur Chennai express via MAJN, Hassan, Mysore, Bangalore, Katpadi.
Existing kcvl UBL was originally proposed via Kerala, MAJN, Hassan. But not succeeded. Similarly, MAQ Hyb express was proposed via Hassan Chitradurga Ballari. This also failed.
