For a Karmataka bound train YPR is a must as the area surrounding 6km is of native state and to some extent Yelhenka but for a north bound train that too Rajdhani may not have much takers as most of the new generation have settled in east and south Benguluru. The north Benguluru from Hebbal to YNK is now new residential area but how many prefer air over train is a question as they save time of 24hrs.

The cost of 16 coach VB rake is 110cr while 22 coach LHB rake with WAP 7 costs 70cr. The cost VB ACC is 1.5x of normal ACC and is fairly priced. The cost of VB I ACC should be decreased for 100-200km range above that the fare is comparable to Volvo sitting buses for distances above 200-500km. The fare looks expensive as the catering fare is included.

HemangMankad~ 922 blog postsAre the Pitlines at MMCT for Hisar, Hapa, New Delhi and Indore Duronto of shorter length? All the MMCT Durontos need an increase in number of coaches to 22.
First they need to change dep of Indore and Jaipur to 1900 before Avantika and Jaipur express. New Delhi Dutonto to 1700 and run as clone to Rajdhani Express then they need to increase capacity to 22 coaches. Why would a premium paying traveller board a train which arrives in evening?

They are still in interior furshing stage and regular trails have to conducted. ICf is manufacturing 8/12 coach not sure how many rakes but Kapartula is manufacturing 16 coach and has order for 12 rakes in 2024-25. Some youtube channels quote that these will be given to CR and WR for locals services and not sure and RB along with PM office will have surprises.For SCR and other zones probably after April 2025. SC to Kurnool, Sirpur, Vijayawada and Guntur are potential routes and also Vja to Vskp, Tirupati.

These trains are for 200-400km intercity segments and Metro suburban. The seating 3×3 so the gangway will be same MEMU and new GS reserved coaches. These will have 2 washrooms as in MEMU trains.
