Presently how much time is required to travel KYN-KJT? and LNL-PUNE with 12 coach EMUs? IS the sum total of their time over 2 hrs? How much time this EMU will take to cross ghat? News report says it will have 32 braking wheels as opposed to 16 of current trains. Nothing specific about how much more power. Anyway, with halts at all stations, it will never be able to do KYN-PUNE/NK in 2 hrs. or 2.5 hrs.
Pune Kalyan will take 3hrs at least.... currently Pune to lonavala takes 1hour 35mins
boss, the EMUs are certified to run at 100 kmph, not more. present EMUs on both, PUNE-LNL and KJT-KYN sections run at the top speed of 100 only.
