i still dont understand why some people always tell TVC raj was extended to TVC if it was not extended to TVC we would have got a new one. ERS Duronto was not proposed by SR neither by Kerala it was decision of Ministry of Railways , if JS wouldnt have ran in kerala some express would have ran on the same time.

problem with tamil nadu state is chennai is situated near to state border and none of train originating from chennai serves tamil nadu at all, so poor connectivity of main places like madurai, CBE and many other places to other important places like NDLS and Mumbai so the only way is to ask some new trains, SR wont extend any train beyond chennai central.
