In October 2023, two passenger trains collided in Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh, resulting in 17 deaths and 34 injuries. the pilots' mobile phone data usage, including call logs and data usage, found no indication that they were watching cricket. The Railway Safety Commissioner, who conducted a detailed investigation, also didn't mention the pilots watching cricket in his report. The investigation concluded that the accident was caused by a 'failure in the operation of the train,' and blamed the train crew and operational staff for the crash. Following this incident, the Railway Board banned the use of Bluetooth headsets by crew members during duty hours, citing the initial claims of the crew watching cricket and the violation of safety protocols.

mein yeh claim saabit nahin hua. Pilots ke mobile phone data usage ka analysis, call logs aur data usage ke saath, is baat ka koi sign nahin dikha ki woh cricket dekh rahe the. Railway Safety Commissioner, jinhone ek detailed investigation ki, ne bhi apni report mein pilots ke cricket dekhne ka koi zikr nahin kiya. Investigation ne conclude kiya ki accident 'train ke operation mein failure' ki wajah se hua, aur train crew aur operational staff ko accident ke liye blame kiya. Is incident ke baad, Railway Board ne duty hours mein crew members ke beech Bluetooth headsets ke use par ban laga diya, initial claims mein crew ke cricket dekhne aur safety protocols ke violation ka zikr karke.
