Even i am not in support of Durg and Gondia because Kanpur Vande Bharat skips Aligarh and Ghaziabad as well.

Route needs to be longer to skip stations you mentioned as the whole load will come directly on Bilaspur and Raipur to fill the train.
Till now i haven't seen any train be it Duronto or LTT PURI LTT ever skipped Gondia & DURG above 40kmph as in case of the stations which you mentioned generally skipped on MPS.(Correct me for the last few lines if i am wrong)
So either extend this VB or Speed up required by 1:30 hrs at least.

i am in doubt for patronage between Nagpur and Gondia once N.Gadkari dream metro project turns into reality between the above mentioned stations.
