This would create a direct train connection to Bahraich, which currently requires passengers to change trains at Gonda. Train 13508 Gorakhpur-Asansol Express will terminate at Jasidih, 18183/18184 Tatanagar-Buxar-Tatanagar Express will be terminated at Asansol and start from Asansol, and 17321 Vasco Da Gama-Jasidih Weekly Express will be terminated at Madhupur. Train 17006 Raxaul-Hyderabad Weekly Express will be controlled for 80 minutes. The railway has apologized for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
