1hr 45mins is not a small difference. Preference of which train means the final destination in hyderbad far or less from Secunderabad and time of appointment for the day and place of travel to attend to work.traffic in that route.

Concept of Non-Stop Duranto is gone as it is not viable both for IR (OR)& Passengers(End up paying end-end earlier).

Cities with more than 5L population can be awarded stoppage for premium trains such that there will be good demand.

12775 /76 Cocanada AC SF Express & 12737/38 Gowthami SF Express are skipping Vijayawada.
then no one complains.
What a pity train route changed for both 22203/04 Duronto & 12783/84 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad AC SF Express months ago before allotting 130 kmph for WL - BZA section.
Both are Lhb which deserves 130 run.

Totally makes sense diverting it via GNT,PDRL and less MPS i think when compared to WL,Kazipet section. Mostly 22203/12784 picks up and enjoys speed only after BZA which has less traffic and gets priority. Instead of Diverting via GNT,PDRL if they have followed the same ground rule for CCT bound trains(Coconada,Gauthami) like bypassing BZA via RVP which reduces time and also LR. but SCR has some other plans lets see.

I think this egoistic problem is simply carried by BZA division itself.
Normally 22203/04 type trains can cover SC - VSKP section in 9 hours.
In 22203/12784 and Railways is charging higher ticket price another side speed is equal to normal Superfast train.
Now people will say Duronto type trains are not Non - Stop trains.

there is no difference between Duronto and SF. Even when they were introduced, they were only supposed to be non-stop trains. There wasn't any 'high speed' about them.
So what shell we do with Raj & Shatabdi which runs like
normal Superfast.

Same today also Duronto express looped at Nagireddipali for 02795 Intercity Crossing. In this section 02796/95 is high priority train than others.
Now Duronto Express 197 KMS to ARR GNT. Like Duronto Express is scheduled to arrive Guntur maybe 10-15 minutes late.

running duronto on that single track just to avoid LR in BZA is not right thing i believe, if SCR is keen on bringing this one inside BZA they shuld have easily reduced 30mins jrny time btwn SC and Duvvada so that time wastage for LR wouldnt be there

It's not just to avoid LR. They also want to manage paths on both routes. Since the BZA-KZJ route is also used for north-bound traffic, they want to have more slots available on that route.
Since Duronto has no halts anyway, they would've felt that there was no need to block a slot on the BZA-WL section.

I feel instead of Duronto they should have diverted VSKP LTT or Garibrath for that matter. To divert a high priority train also will create more pressure on NLDA GNT route, which is already getting late by 15 min. Better divert two trains with normal priority. Already these trains don't have many Halts in SC BZA section.

what difference it makes even if it runs via SC - BZA via KZJ when SCR is not changing timings. It has been given same timings of 4 : 45 mins to BZA like earlier. For , other trains connectivity might have been lost like WL, KMT. Duronto reached BT only at VSKP.

As per above schedule, scheduled running time between Visakhapatnam-Eluru is 04:25 Hours.

Bare Running Time from Eluru to Vijayawada North East Cabin is 43 minutes.

Accordingly, its running time between Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada North East Cabin is around 05:08 Hours.

How come the journey time for Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada North East cabin is 04:23 hours (as mentioned by you) ?

They were classified long before 2008, sir. The classification for the 160kmph routes has been around since the 1970s (After the HWH and Bombay Raj started running). The classification just keeps getting updated every few years.

As far as I am aware, there have been no RDSO/CRS certifications for higher speeds on the BZA-DVD section. There are no speed certificates or CRS clearances available for the East Coast route, to the best of my knowledge.

Overall Running time for Train No. 02203 in Vijayawada Division is as the following.
Bare Running Time - 04:07 Hours (12 Minutes for Vijayawada-Krishna Canal)
Engineering Allowance - 00:20 Hours (6 minutes, for every 100 KM's)
Traffic Allowance - 00:13 Hours

Grand Total - 04:55 Hours

For Train No. 02203, Running time between Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada North East Cabin is around 04:20 hours (Excluding 15 minutes halting time at BZA, and 20 minutes running time between Vijayawada North East Cabin-Krishna Canal)

There is difference of around 48 minutes, between running time of Train No. 02203 & 08561.

Such difference could be due to (8) stoppages for Train No. 08561, but Maximum permissible Speed for both train remains 110 KMPH only.
