Totally makes sense diverting it via GNT,PDRL and less MPS i think when compared to WL,Kazipet section. Mostly 22203/12784 picks up and enjoys speed only after BZA which has less traffic and gets priority. Instead of Diverting via GNT,PDRL if they have followed the same ground rule for CCT bound trains(Coconada,Gauthami) like bypassing BZA via RVP which reduces time and also LR. but SCR has some other plans lets see.
