with Gen coach in end or beginning, what railways has done so far to control crowds. ?
Crowds will go where their coach is stationed. and that purpose is better served with DIgital Coach Position Display/ indicator.

Reality is that railway has limited trains , and limited Coaches for General people that is why corwding happens.
Like reseved coaches, seat numbers must be printed on coach, with the help of Technology. This idea is not occuring to them.
and with these allotment. No one will crowd the General coach.
But can Govt dare to plan this?
Will Govt go for welfare measures?
It is happy to print on tickets that your ticket cost 57% is born by Railways.

It is corona that is instilling some sense of discipline .
Else railway or bus or roads , Banks or stations, queue system is dream.

If Govt gives strict orders for queues then every crowd will not be a burden.

Same way , preventing deaths due to accidental slipping between train and platform is not worry of govt.
Solution is there.
Remove the Gap between Platform floor and Coach floor .
Rais the level of Platform , so that aged and Divyang can easily move in and out of train without fear of falling.

Now only athletes are able to perform the feat of catching such trains wher platform is lower and coach is higher.
