NEW DELHI: After the decision of increasing passenger fare, the Indian Railways have now decided to put extra burden on the passengers' pockets by raising cloak room and locker charges, which have not been revised since 2001.

Now passengers have to pay more for keeping their belongings in the cloak rooms and lockers from February 1.

more... the locker room charges were Rs 5 for 24 hours, but now the passengers have to pay Rs 20 for keeping his belongings in the locker at rail premise and Rs 30 for every additional 24 hours.

Similarly the cloak room charge has been revised from Rs 10 to Rs 15 and for each subsequent 24 hours, the rate is Rs 20 from February.
