Please add NOTA also, how much are you giving importance to station/route ki yaa toh divert ho ya extend ho, isn't Chambal fulfilling your demand?
Some other reasons:
1. Make additional stabling lines and platforms, with existing infrastructure GWL can't handle more trains.
2A. JHS-CNB has way more pax than Empty GWL-BIX-ETW
2B.

How much is it feasible to run additional loop of 3+ hours? just to cater an abandoned line? The three already running express trains are fairly empty.
3. 22197/98 PSS has RSA with 22195/96 Jhansi Bandra Express/Jhansi Bandra Special/Jhansi Pune Special Express.

Why bashing GWL unnecessarily, GWL-BIX-ETW has capacity to give as much traffic as any train on VGLB-CNB section could, although extension is not a good thing imo since if a particular demand has to be fulfilled there is no chance whatsoever to complain on grounds of previously existing infrastructure, it is obvious to everyone the route is new and will take time, but it is not at all correct to just write off completely.

really? Why to give popularity on this post with fake facts? Everyone knows the congestion constraints in etw-cnb section, you won't talk about that you only talk about etw-gwl section which is empty.
Vglb-cnb is on a surge to get doubled. Mps is soon to be turned to 120-130. and you still busy supporting a section with max speed of 110. what after etw? are you not aware uske baad bhi congestion hota hai? it's not about gwalior, it's about why to "divert" train running on particular section, itni gwalior ki need hai toh MPs can demand train via bix-etw, already many new and specials have been introduced

Imo all I have seen in many years I have been in and around Gwalior region is if they wanted to have a service, it is bound to get traffic. Yes obviously cases could be made for trains like ST-MFP Express and Okha Express however you have to acknowledge that IR has itself identified this route to be a potential option for trains as two of most packed special from BSB and PRYJ(SFG) are introduced via this route and is getting immense positive response despite being running and reaching the concerned section at odd times. Given in a hypothetical scenario this maybe a choice as VGLB division is notorious for doing wacky things although breaking of RSA will not suit purpose.

yes I agree with you though people have enough resources to catch Chambal Express either from GWL/MRA/DHO.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
