I Think Departure Time From MAS Should Have Been At 6:00, SBC 10:00 - 10:05, MYS 12:00 And Return MYS 14:00, SBC 15:45 - 15:50, MAS 20:00.

Spare Rakes of VB are required at all Coaching Depots.
WR( Mumbai), SR(Chennai) , CR(Mumbai) all need spares when the Main rake will go for overhauling.

As per VB maintainance schedule it requires complete inspection after 18 months for 15 days. So at present there is no necessity to station an extra rake at any stations. One rake should be given to New Delhi from Jan 2024 when CDG Himachal VB completes 14-15 months and stationed there as spare. Another spare should be kept ready at Chennai ICF and as and when some rake goes to ICF then it can be used as replacement.
If SR Shatabdi is to be given to SWR mys then VB should run in Shatabdi slot leaving MYS at 1430 SBC 1620 Chennai 2030.
As of now there is no need to change the timings of Shatabdi as both of them even on a week day are able to attract 1500-1600 travellers from Chennai while weekend Sat Su Monday both are full baring 100 avbl. In reverse direction from SBC to Chennai as both of them have time gap there is good occupancy. Only issue is Shatabdi should be...

If both are running full, there is no need to change, present timings are good.
