Hon. Railway Minister announced last year that "Kashi Tamil Sangam express" would be started soon from Kashi to Tamilnadu. Several months have passed and no news till now, not even a summer special.

Best solution is all trains should stop at all stations and only GS coaches will be there in all trains. Fare will be adjusted to avoid loss

Similarly MAS HWH mail also reaching HWH at 23:00 correct time and more inconvenient if late.

Agree completely. I have travelled totally 10 times by 12664 and 12840, reach HWH early morning and take local to reach destination. Planning to go in June / July, may have to sleep in Howrah station platform only.

There is also another way. 12841 Coromandel can depart from HWH or SHM at 7:00am (like its counterpart from MAS). In that case it will reach MAS at 10:30 and can depart as 12840 MAS HWH mail at 13:30 reaching HWH 17:30 itself.
As for 12864, it should depart SMVB in the evening only, as earlier, and reach HWH at 6am.

Much needed train. Purnagiri Jan Shatabdi goes along circuitous route and reaches Tanakpur 4pm, difficult for those who want to proceed to places like Champawat, Lohaghat, Pithorogarh, etc. Last time i took KGM shatabdi from NDLS to Rudrapur, then bus to Tanakpur and up from there.
