Recently saw that NFR has asked for sanctions of VB depot .Maybe can take time or a strong political pressure may make it happen as NFR has no VB depot as of now.

SCR is going for a 8 Coacher Vande Bharat in Secunderabad Tirupati Route, similar rake could be tried for Guwahati New Jalpaiguri Section as well.
Yes, Dibrugarh Shatabdi was an utter failure, I don't think even inclusion of Tinsukia would've saved it.

normal Hotel Check - in time since trains arrive in Night. Something similar happened with Shatabdi Trains of Guwahati as as well. No administrative reason for Daytime Travel to Guwahati (most of them would take overnight train to arrive early and leave in night), Tourists from Guwahati (or who come to Guwahati) won't choose those Shatabdi Trains because of late night arrival at Destination City. Same will happen to this proposed Vande Bharat if it gets afternoon departure from Guwahati.
So for even a slight chance of success, Morning Departure from Guwahati is absolutely essential.
Let's be honest, if this route isn't able to sustain a Premium Train in NFR, no route ever will.

I think this VB, SC-TPTY, MAS-CBE all are getting 8 coaches. That's the reason suddenly 4-5 VB are coming otherwise monthly only one can be expected from ICF.
