I don't think this would be feasible when taking the Tambaram route...if that's the case then it might need to go to Chengalpattu Jn, come to Arakkonam Jn via reversals and then hit the rails down to SBC and MYS.....
Having a stop at KJM for VB might sound "not needed" for now, but once the upcoming metro project becomes operational somewhere around March '23, then it "can" be considered as some other RFans said that connectivity can be beneficial.... Let's wait and see what is gonna be the verdict from the...

It's simple buddy, as I said to BangaloreMail friend, when keeping Shatabdi not in service on Wed, VB should run on Wed.... and when Shatabdi runs on other 6-days, then VB can take any one day when it is not needed to run....
My point of view is that, it should be taken on a day, where not much ppl travel to Chennai (like Tues, or Thurs)... It can't be like no service on weekends or Fri, cause that's when you'll find a lot of ppl travelling to Chennai during weekends to spend time there with family...
So, I know, lengthy post...😄😄 but yeah.. let's see what happens....
