Metro have their metropolitan exists so no zones needed. thanks
Mamata Banerjee made Kolkata Metro the 17th Zone of IR.as IR took Over East West metro (line 2) from the KMRC,who were under charge of it now became defunct and all the reaming project already alloted to IR so, Kolkata Metro Services are and will be completely Under Indian Railways.
if it is so then other metro services like dmrc, bmrc etc will also come in IR zone..
