This train can be diverted via Bls,Kgp/ Hijili, instead of Jkpr, Kdjr route, by this Patronage can be increased and further this can be extended upto Ranchi/Dhanbad..

What about the people of the route from Jakhpura to Tatanagar? How will they travel? If all the trains travel through a particular popular in demand route only, how will the people belonging from the other low demand, under developed routes travel? This train was dedicatedly introduced specially for this route only keeping in mind, the needs of the few people living in these remote, under developed, poorly connected areas. So it will not be diverted to any other route. Indian railway is a government enterprise. So it runs trains not on profit basis but on public need basis. These areas need more trains.

Agree with you that under developed areas need connectivity at the same time a weekly train in a branch line will not cater to the requirement of the people of that region. First you need daily trains passrngers to connect to nearest railread or economic cities to which these people depend for business, healthcare and personal needs and what time they start and reach the centres. So this line section should be first connected to Tatanagar and Cuttack BBS by daily trains.

yes definitely daily train is better than weekly, but weekly is better than nothing... so it doesn't mean that if they don't provide daily, we will demand to remove the weekly also. IR hardly provides daily trains nowadays.. they begins with weekly/biweekly only then later increase the frequency.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
