Thanks for the suggestions. No need for photograph, Mr. Pradeep - thanks a lot for the information. The names of the trains are inconsistent in many, many cases. IR website may have one name, Trains at a Glance may have another, and yet, the name appearing on the actual coaches themselves may be different. This has been observed widely. So, we need not take one of these sources as authoritative.
"StationFrom - StationTo Express" is also not consistently followed. It is just a safe name, that the IR website often uses when they are updating many trains, and maybe do not have the time to research and do due diligence on each name.
As...
more... for this site, against every train/name, the Source and Destination Stations are always available, so we need not follow the above scheme since it is redundant. For example, for this train, if you type in the train number/name on the drop down, you can see the train name, as well as the source and destination stations (Chennai & Mysore) in the list. So, once again calling it Chennai Mysore Express is redundant, and also takes up space.
In this case, it might be best to call the train "Kaveri Express" since this is a descriptive name, and the name most people use to refer to this train. The fact that it goes from Chennai to Mysore or reverse can easily be seen inside the drop-down.
