Its not that RPM snatched ERS ELS , the need of ELS at RPM came much before the proposal of ERS ELS, since it was hectic work reach to AJJ as each loco needs to travel 70 kms. Thats why a ELS handling WAP's will be near to the metro's always . Eg) LGD for SC, SRC for HWH, GZB/TKD for NDLS and so on. In layman's words , the WAP4's of AJJ are shifted to RPM and AJJ started to handle WAG/WAM and few WAP1s , once if all those WAM/WAP1's are scrapped , then AJJ will be a full fledged Freight handling shed. However once if KR and SA division's branch lines gets electrified there is no need of DLS at ERS and ED.
