PNBE-MGS Travel: 3A in Magadh with UTS Ticket. TTE charged me Fare difference (with receipt) but didnt bother to ask UTS from a local village Guy after he informed to travel till Buxar!!

Gaya & PNBE routes are no much different and both exist in Bihar!! The localites at Bihar are well aware about this fact and must have traveled frequently in jam-packed train brimmed with WT travelers!!
Its the fact about realization of backward infra with less connectivity of State Transport and casual traveling on train to keep authorized travelers in pain!!

Local train exist in low count at non metro places and increasing these counts will affect mainline SF/EXP speed. Stoppages in PNBE route for most trains are as good as like passenger/fast passenger (Farakka, Magadh, Shramjeevi, Vibhuti, Punjab Mail, Janta etc). And as you said: More stoppage will invite short journey WT travelers. DDU-Gaya dont have any much of day-time multi stoppage trains as compared to DDU-PNBE!!

All this happens at every route. If you have to travel in SF/M/E, either book it or grab UTS Ticket and pay Fare difference to TTE or make MST..but who cares when you dont need to pay as stoppage been assigned to non deserving stations!!

If two major cities are nearby, it cant be a reason to dump other city citing distance as an excuse!!
GWL Metropolitan is double in population at 11 Lakh to JHS at 5.5 Lakh!! 281 Sq Feet (GWL) vs 83 Sq Feet (JHS) Metrpolitan Area!! Just coz JHS got Technical Purpose cant keep other important cities dehydrated citing distance as excuse & this train has sped up after GWL Stoppage!! Rajdhani got no Kms restriction for stoppages!!

Prestige affiliated to stops or TT or service? Prestigious SBC/SC Raj with 1 Stop (SBC Covid till 9 Jan 21) got horrible run @ 8:45/8:38 Hrs in BPL-NDLS!!
BPL-NDLS-BPL: CSMT/MAS/BSP Raj (GWL/AGC) are faster than SC/SBC Raj (no GWL/AGC)!! In City dynamics, JHS stands nowhere to GWL & Staff can easily be changed at GWL (Wipes JHS dependability)!!
AK vs MMCT Raj * Stops: 10 vs 5 * Run Time: 15:53 vs 16:33 Hrs * Perfect example of prestige reinforced where double stops dont impact run with mere 40 Mins Run Diff!!
