Contractor is expected to pay railways Rs 35lakhs per year which is almost 3 lakhs per month !! He is expected to sell non catering products on trains.
The big question is will products get sold in these trains. One of them is a short distance train, another an overnight train.
This is also one reason why so many catering stalls in stations are also not renewing contracts because hardly anyone is able to make money !
