is Bad, Push Back Buttons of Many seats not working.
Had a good 15 minute halt at Sadar Bazar and numerous long slow downs before Karnal, still managed to reach Ambala Outer before time
There are more options in Breakfast than Counterpart Amritsar Swarna Shatabdi Express on the same route but taste is relatively poor than Shatabdi. Also 'No Jam' available in Vande Bharat 😂
Train has good Weekend Crowd, definitely deserves 16 Coacher Rake. Quite popular among Business Travelers due to early morning timings in contrast to what many people were claiming here. These last seats were filled on the spot and many people were standing at the platform trying to get a Seat.

Ofcourse, this route can easily sustain that.
After New Delhi Departure thing can be sorted through extension of Ajmer Vande Bharat to Chandigarh, in return it will obviously have timings similar to Amb Andaura Vande Bharat so a revised schedule is needed for Amb Andaura Vande Bharat where it runs just behind Katra Vande Bharat (it's running just before Katra Vande Bharat in New Delhi Ambala Section anyway).
A late departure from Amb Andaura will enable People to return by Vande Bharat Express from Amb Andaura same day after Darshan at Chintpurni Mata...

Temple, increasing occupancy in that section also Chandigarh would get proper late night connection to New Delhi so Business Travelers could get entire Day's Time to conclude meetings and return in one day.
Current timings of Evening Kalka Shatabdi becomes vexing for Buisness Travelers coming from Mohali. Conclusion of Business by 5 PM is not possible always.

Dehradun or Bareilly can be Tried. Dehradun VB has a good occupancy history, it can be given a 16 Coacher Rake now. Bareilly has excellent occupancy for Day time trains to New Delhi due to lack of Options.
Kathgodam and Kotdwar are a strict No. Have travelled many times in Kathgodam Shatabdi (to Rudrapur City) and Sidhaballi Jan Shatabdi (to Bijnor). Tickets are easily available. Reverse Service having Morning Departure from Kathgodam can be tried, but I wouldn't be too sure of that for 16 Coacher Rake. Although it can have 8 Coacher Dehradun VB Rake once Dehradun VB gets 16 Coacher Rake.

condition we've all seen. Firozpur Shatabdi couldn't even sustain a Short Rake.
Agra Jhansi is currently fulfilled considering occupancy and last minute availability in Rani Kamlapati Vande Bharat and Bhopal Shatabdi.
Agra can get another connection in form of Chandigarh New Delhi Afternoon Shatabdi, it already has TAT and timings are suitable.
Also decent chance of Dehradun VB getting extended there as there's enough TAT and Dehradun would get a more decent connection considering it gets 16 Coacher Rake.

hmmm... re scheduling of 12011/12 and 22447/48 is required.

22447 can start from NDLS at around 06:15 hours , reach AADR at 11:25 hours.
22448 can start from AADR at around 17:00 hours to reach NDLS at around 22:15 hours. a halt at Mohali can be scheduled in both directions.

can depart CDG at around 19:20-19:25 hours in return to reach NDLS at around 22:15-20 ishh !
while KLK shatabdi can be pushed to an early spot at around 17:30 hours from CDG .. reaching NDLS at around 20:45 hours.
Since it stops at 4 destinations enroute... it won't face much overtaking issues...

Travelled in 22447/22448 between New Delhi and Chandigarh yesterday, here are few observations -

1) 22447 departed 7 minutes late from NDLS, arrived 7 minutes late at UMB and 10 minutes late at CDG
2) 22448 arrived/departed 10 minutes late from CDG, arrived 6 minutes late at UMB and 5 minutes late at NDLS

Seats looked very old, not so clean
4) Washrooms were wet & water leaking right since origination at NDLS (shocking to say the least), in return journey they were stinky as well
5) Good part was didn't make a single unscheduled halt in both up and down journeys, all skips were mainline skips. Not even a single loop line skip.
6) Train slowed down 5 times in up direction due to maintenance/caution and 4 times in down direction
7) Food/snacks in both directions oily, not fully cooked, not warm and not enough either
8) Decent boarding from UMB in 22448 of Delhi bound pax. due to road blockage at Haryana/Punjab Shambhu border
9) 60-65% boarding/deboarding in both 22447/48 is from/at Chandigarh only

Ratings -
1) Cleanliness - 9/10
2) Rake Maintenance - 6/10
3) Food - 4/10
4) Washrooms - 4/10
5) Punctuality - 8/10
6) Run/ journey time - 10/10
7) Seating comfort - 6/10

Overall, a below par experience. Possibly an old rake with not much focus on maintenance and food. Vande Bharat not worth the hype is my impression after this journey.
Controlling by both UMB & Delhi division was excellent.

This VB gets 60-70% occupancy To and from Chandigarh only and its the same from introduction. You must have got the 2019 rake under rotation. By any chance remember the coach number starting with 22 or 19?. Return the dep cam be delayed by 1.5hrs to suit business needs and day return travellers and reduce load on Shatabdi.
