What's wrong with the railway system here? You can go inside the train and find a seat yourself, or ask other passengers for help. Some people forcefully take a seat inside the train and then get off when the train starts moving. Even if you stop for just 5 minutes, some people will still manage to get on and off the moving train. Within 2 minutes, 15 to 20 trains can easily be boarded, which is sufficient for small stations. Taking too much time to stop the train is just a waste of time.

Yeah, absolutely, this is very important. Just last week, I saw with my own eyes a similar incident at Mathura Junction. As soon as the Agra Fort Ramnagar Express train arrived at Mathura Junction, people started running towards the general compartments and in the chaos, a woman fell in the gap between the platform and the train and she died instantly. Because she was a poor woman, nobody cared and people just removed her dead body from the platform and left it there. Her poor husband and children kept crying. There are so many incidents like this that happen while boarding or deboarding trains, but we only get to hear about 1 or 2 percent of them, and that too only if something happens to a rich or influential person. I have seen many incidents of people falling in front of moving trains myself, and it has instilled a fear in my mind about boarding trains. Instead of spending more money on making railway stations flashy or running VIP trains, the money should be spent on passenger safety and better infrastructure. The incidents like these have increased a lot, even though the number of sleeper and general compartments is decreasing. The government needs to understand the value of human life.
