Bilaspur division. To address fire safety concerns, all AC coaches are equipped with fire alarms, and instructions on using fire extinguishers are clearly displayed in each coach. The division is also focusing on safety measures like fencing along the tracks from Dhanbad to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, which will be completed by September. The lift maintenance agency at Dhanbad Junction has been blacklisted and the contract terminated due to the lift being out of service for an extended period. The lifts are expected to be repaired within one to one and a half months, and officials have been directed to ensure the escalators are operational regularly.

Bihar and Purvanchal. The DRM also highlighted the division's performance, stating they are first in loading for the first quarter of the fiscal year. To prevent fire incidents in trains, all AC coaches are equipped with fire alarms. Passengers are advised to stay calm, identify the source of smoke, inform the coach attendant or TTE, and attempt to extinguish the fire if possible. Fire extinguishers are available in all compartments, and instructions for their use are displayed. The division is working on safety measures including fencing the railway track from Dhanbad to Pt. DD Upadhyaya Junction by September. The DRM confirmed that the Dhanbad-Chandrapura line currently faces no threat. The contract with the agency responsible for elevator maintenance at Dhanbad railway station has been cancelled due to the elevators being out of service for an extended period. The agency has been blacklisted. The elevators are expected to be fixed within 1-1.5 months. Officials have been directed to ensure escalators are operational regularly.
