Thiruvalla: In a daring incident three school students took selfie in front of a speeding train. A fatality was hair’s breadth away as the loco pilot stopped the train which was moving in a slow speed.
The incident occurred in front of Island Express at Manimala railway bridge near Kuttoor on Thursday at about 11.30am. The student involved were of Class 10 and Plus One.

range of students. Still the students hesitated to step out of the track. Following that, the loco pilot asked the officials who were working on the track to stop the students. Meantime, one of the students ran away.
On knowing about the incident, Railway Protection Force took the children to their office and summoned their parents. They were later sent with their parents after educating them about the seriousness of what they have done.
Why here?
Trains will be travelling in a slow speed near Kuttoor bridge as they have stop at Thiruvalla. Locals told railway police that utilizing this slow speed, many young people visit this area for taking daring selfies. Following that, police gathered the locals and educated them to alert officials if they witness any such kind activities.
