** It seems that there is more traffic on Roha-Madgaon section, so more saturation
** More over Roha-Madgaon is hilly terrain, so limited line capacity and more difficult to double

** KR has the expertise of handling new rail line projects in hilly terrains, especially in long tunnel construction.
** But IR is not giving due consideration to capacity augmentation of KR
It is neglected even in the futuristic National rail plan-2030

** KR deserves to be part of famed and very important "national Heavily Utilised (HUN) Network", for that to happen KR needs to be merged with IR or IR has to take initiative & actively support KR in this regard.

**During the period of Mr Prabhu, it was reported that the doubling shall be done simultaneously in a few more stretches in addition to Roha-Veer, but that could not materialize.
** KR want to do doubling of long tunnels in the last phase to double maximum route KMs at minimum cost in shorter time.
