The incident occurred at 8:25 PM when the Kalindi Express (14117) departed from Kanpur en route to Bhiwani. The train driver, Raj Kishore, stopped the train after hearing a loud noise. The train remained on the track for about 22 minutes. The Lucknow Bandra Express, traveling from Lucknow to Bandra Terminus, was also stopped at Bilhour station. The driver informed the guard, who sent a memo to the railway authorities about the incident. The gateman at the crossing, Pappu Pal, was also informed. The track was cleared after inspection, and the train was allowed to proceed. The DCP West reported that a search operation using lights was conducted, leading to the discovery of a filled LPG cylinder between Taripula and the toll plaza. A petrol bottle and matches were found 50 meters away from the cylinder. A powder-like substance, believed to be gunpowder, was also found in the bag. The DCP West, Rajesh Kumar Singh, stated that the cylinder placed on the railway track was found at a short distance away. The bag contained suspicious items, and a forensic team was called in for investigation. An FIR will be registered in the case. The PRO of the Izzatnagar Division, Rajendra Singh, confirmed that the RPF recovered the cylinder from the railway track. A special railway police force from Kannauj is investigating the incident. DCP West, Rajesh Kumar Singh ka kahna hai ki railway track pe cylinder rakha gaya tha, jo thodi duri par baramud kiya gaya hai. Jhole mein kuchh sandhight vastuye bhi mili hain. Forensic team ko bulaya ja raha hai. Case mein FIR register ki jaayegi. Izzatnagar Mandal ke PRO, Rajendra Singh ne bataya ki RPF ne railway track pe cylinder baramud kar liya hai.
