A case was registered against him under the NDPS Act by Station House Officer Inspector Ranjit Kumar. After initial questioning, the youth was produced in the Special Court in Muzaffarpur and sent to jail. He reportedly works in a cycle factory in Delhi and was returning to his village to attend a function. He had alighted at Muzaffarpur Junction from a Clone Special train and attempted to change his route upon seeing the police, prompting them to apprehend and search him.

roop mein hui hai. Thanedhar Inspector Ranjit Kumar ne uske khilaf NDPS Act mein case register kiya hai. Shuruati pochach ke baad ladke ko Muzaffarpur walay special court mein pesh kiya gaya aur jail bhej diya gaya. Btaya jata hai ki ladka Delhi mein cycle factory mein kaam karta hai. Samaroh mein shamil hone ke liye gaon aa raha tha. Muzaffarpur junction par Clone Special train se utra tha. Police ko dekhkar rasta badal diya. Iske baad police ne pakda aur uski talashi li.
