Once inspected by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), passenger train services will begin. The new line will benefit residents of Saraia, Paru, and Sahebganj blocks in Muzaffarpur district, as well as parts of bordering Chhapra. Vaishali is 41 km from Sonepur Junction, and the new line will extend the rail route to 60 km with the addition of Paroo. Currently, trains operate between Ghosvar and Vaishali. The existing line sees one pair of trains running between Sonepur and Vaishali. The commencement of services to Paroo Khas is expected to introduce another pair of trains.
