Once again a ray of hope. This could be game changer for people of this relatively backward region. Also people of West Rajasthan including Jodhpur will have shortest route to connect to central and south east India.
I have put a grievance once again on PG Portal. Lets see if there is any favourable revert this time.
Finally got a revert on PG Portal on the grievance put up in April 2022 - MORLY/E/2022/06974.
Below is the revert -
"The gauge conversion of Marwar- Mavli section was included in the Budget 2017-18 subjected to requisite Government approvals. Mavli-Marwar section passes through two wild life sanctuaries and land acquisition was involved in these two sanctuaries. Considering the strict forest regulations and huge environmental impact, a survey from Devgarh to Bar, avoiding wild life sanctuaries, has been sanctioned.
