Tamilnadu under Southern Railway doesnot received any new trains or simple extension beyond 60 km and frequency increases in 2016.The worst year ever faced in our Indian Railway for Tamilnadu.

As far as new trains (with normal fares) are concerned, 2016 had been one of the worst for most of states (except UP of course) as most of the new trains were introduced with Suvidha/ special fares throughout IR network.
