Why is Lalbagh being diverted to Gudur? Instead it could be terminated at MS. I think this is the first time SBC Mail is going to terminate at MS after a run via VM-MS line.
That seems to be a long route to Chennai. They could have diverted via VM.
I agree.. but there are few trains they have diverted via VM and all these are busy routes and cant screw up the schedule of regular trains.
Passenger those who doesnt like to travel in diverted route can get down at Katpadi station and can avail next direct train to Chennai from Katpadi.
If any direct train is not available they can avail BUS route if they prefer as following.
Passenger can avail Town bus route No: 1 & 2 to reach Vellore New Bus stand from front of Katpadi railway station. It will hardly takes Max 10-15min to reach vellore bus stand and very frequently we have this bus service.
