Indian Railways has already surveyed 42 villages and estimates the land acquisition to be around 257.92 hectares, with an allocated budget of 10 crore rupees for the acquisition process. The land acquisition is expected to begin after Dussehra in October. This project is anticipated to provide much-needed rail connectivity to the residents of Balrampur after 77 years of independence.
