The journey from Salem to Bengaluru takes less than 3.5 hours. In the return direction, the train leaves Bengaluru Cantonment at 8:45 AM and reaches Ernakulam at 2:20 PM, passing through the same stations in reverse order. The train is also expected to be popular with passengers traveling from Coimbatore to Kerala, as it reaches Ernakulam in approximately three hours. The service will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from Ernakulam to Bengaluru, and on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Bengaluru to Ernakulam. The train will run for 24 trips in total, from July 31st to August 26th. The train consists of eight coaches, including seven chair cars and one executive class, and its future operation will depend on passenger demand.
