If punctuality is maintained with this reduction in time, there is enough scope to reduce the time further. Doubling, Electrification and yard remodelling at both Mysuru and Bengaluru has to show some more benefits. Another thing is that change all passengers/expresses on the route (MYS-SBC) with conventional rakes into MEMUs. Mightily beneficial.

Basava express starting at 1330 crawls upto Doddaballapur. Even if it starts by 1420 (just behind Shatabdi), it can make up. Rajya Rani can start by 1445. With this, the passenger (1345) can start by 1330 and reach by 1645, thereby avoiding overtake by Basava also.
MAS MYS SF can be made to reach by 2230. Now it is horrible.

16315 timing should also be drastically speeded up.. Now it reaches around 3.30 at SBC, 1 hr BT. Have to Make it leave by atleast 14.00.. Shatabdi can OT before SBC.

Yes every day it reaches around 3:30pm and has a halt till 16:50 occupying th pf. Either they can delay departure from Mys. Early departure from SBC can be considered which will lead to arrival in KCVL around 8 which is a good time
