That's OK but new trains of other zones are waiting to GOA destination through this route instead of KR.. so As they going to depart from long distances so proper timings and slots are not getting to run them so a double line is very much needed one and also bottleneck braganza ghats gradients need bankers and takes 1.2 hours just between castle rock to Kulem which makes difficult to run and make crossings also in this stretch if Doubled and Electrified and can be good for some instance to run some more trains easily
These two ghats(Braganza and Shiradi) are main revenue earnings for SWR from freights. Doubling will not only help to introduce new trains, it will also increase revenue generation from entire zonal prospective.
Yup that's what needed.. As you know present route between Castle rock to Goa so much saturated one From freight and passengers trains also until extra Line won't exist this will continue as it is. Doubling and Electrification of the route is more necessary to make trains flow fast and efficiently utilising the section.
