Premium Thatkal has to be totally avoided in the Pearl city expresses. If it's not possible in SF Petal city, Requested SR to convert Pearl city expresses as ordinary expresses with just 30 minute delayed arrival in Thoothukkudi and 30 minute earlier start at Thoothukkudi.
IR is using all its brain, creativity & innovation in finding new ways to charge higher and higher surcharge to the full fare paying paxs to earn more and more.
Had the same alacrity been shown by IR towards elimination of wasteful expenditure, better utilisation of resources and better management, all its financial woes would have been solved.

Premium tatkal has its own advantages also. Last minute seats available. Plus seats in premium tatkal confirm normal tatkal tickets and also give chance for current booking. IMO it should be there in all trains.
