number 16128 Guruvayur-Chennai Egmore Express departing Guruvayur at 11:15 PM on May 9th will be diverted via Kottayam for similar reasons with additional stops at Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, and Chengannur. The Kochuveli-Mangaluru Jn Antyodaya Express departing Kochuveli at 9:25 PM on May 16th, 18th, and 23rd will be diverted via Kottayam, skipping stops at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Junction, with additional stops planned at Kottayam and Ernakulam Town. Train number 16605 Mangaluru Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Ernad Express departing Mangaluru Central at 7:20 AM on May 14th to 19th will be partially cancelled between Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram Central. Additionally, the Thiruvananthapuram Central-Mangaluru Central Ernad Express departing Thiruvananthapuram Central at 3:35 AM on May 15th to 20th will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kollam, resuming service from Kollam at 4:38 AM.

Iske alawa Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla aur Chengannur mein extra stops bhi honge. This train wastes 2-1/2 hours at Yeshwantpura.
Takes 14 hours 10 minutes to travel from YPR to Miraj. 756 kms
It is interesting to know that SWR is running a SMVB BGKT Express via ASK CTA BYC HPT UBL route, which is 200 kms longer than shortest route via DVG UBL (I am talking about YPR MRJ section, and covers SMVB MRJ in 16 hours 45 minutes. 957 kms. Why can't our Chalukya travel in ASK CTA BYC HPT UBL route instead of occupying YPR platform for hours? Will improve connectivity.

SR not willing to delay departure of this train. CR not willing to accept early. So SWR become casualty. Why can't SWR run in longer route, but providing connection from Chitradurga, Ballari etc to Mumbai.
TT can be: YPR 0430, ASK 0710 RRB 0940, CTA 0930 BYC 1230 HPT 1330 UBL 1600 BGM 1815 MRJ 2030.

SWR can use YPR platforms to run a YPR Mumbai SF. Can easily extend UBL DR as YPR DR with YPR DEP 0830 UBL 1530 MRJ 2115 DR 0700. Make UBL DR as 22 coach train for avoiding seat quota issues.

Opinions sought.
