In this position, the Locomotive Pilot has a good view at the track. His seat will be facing towards the front.

Television channels esp. news channels doesnt know very well about railways in general. But,when there is breaking news like some collision, accident, derailment, they will go on giving info with minor mistakes and later they will know actual thing. Viz. The recent Doon express incident was happened to the one which travelling from Howrah to Dehradun, but one English channel said it was the train which travelling from Dehradun to Howrah met with accident.

Really funny, he is scolding the locomotive pilot for not giving enough shot. They should be very careful while doing the coupling especially the man who will be there between the locomotive and coach. A small negligence will left them with injury.

Wonderful image. Did you clicked this heritage building, I am proud to see this building whenever I visit Kacheguda, this is pure Nizam's architecture .

Just awsome Venkat. I think you clicked this picture for sure and thanks for sharing with everyone here. SCR should take more steps to keep the heritage station alive forever. This one is masterpiece of Indian Railways and I had seen this picture in some time table books.
You can share the pictures of your region if they are magnificent and serve well to the passengers. I think WR has good number of stations with superb architecture. Example I am quoting is Jaipur Railway Station.
