Probably the most royal experience on this route...The coaches are swanky with automated blinds and indicators displaying the distance to the next station...A COVID safety kit consisting of mask, sanitizer and face shield is provided to everyone at the start of the journey...Food quality and quantity, both are very good - a lavish breakfast followed by a mini-lunch (post Vapi) and ice cream!! Service is superb..The tray tables and aisles are regularly sanitized by the staff...Last, but not the least, punctuality is excellent...All in all, an amazing experience..The ticket price is high, but worth it..Go for Tejas, it is a class apart

Travelled from Dadar to Chiplun and back. Tejas Express is quite swanky with automatic doors, individual TV sets, large windows and modern toilets. Seats are comfortable. On the personal TV, entertainment options are limited and screen touch is poor. Food is average, can opt out of meals. No WiFi on board. Service however is very good. Punctuality has to be improved - the train was about 45 min late on both occassions. Overall, a great experience, almost like an airplane. Worth the price.

Had a pretty bad experience on this train. Arrived at Borivali 1 hour late and was late by over 2 hours when it reached Vadodara. Seating is too crammed. Moreover, we were allotted the lower deck which is just above the wheels and so noisier than what one would expect in an AC coach. Double decker was a big let down and would suggest not to opt for this train unless it is the only train available. Can go by Karnavati/ Garib Rath instead

Read several posts about the harrowing experience people had in general and FC compartments in this train.. AC chair car however is quite comfortable. 2 * 3 configuration, good recline. Train maintains a good speed between Valsad and Borivali. Delays are minimum
