Kacheguda and Secunderabad also division HQs, what's distance between them? Nagpur having divisions of CR, SECR....Some zones are operating from Same HQ like Hwh, Distance between Divisional HQs is not an issue here.

With current earnings it doesn't look possible....Is enough railway land available at either kurnool/nzb? Also if land is available better to ask for pitlines/ stabling lines imo

Not that earnings matter but why would people working at Hyd shift to Some other place ani.....Also I'm not talking about State Govt lands or amaravati here. Railway land is required for making pitlines/stabling lines near the station. Pitline of Nallapadu is initially sanctioned at Guntur station but due to lack of land, other station development issues it was shifted to Nallapadu. It's not like a pitline sanctioned to nandyal was shifted here..

Please check total number of pitlines available in Guntur division once.....Also ability to lobby for these facilities lie with MP of the region. Nandyal wasn't terminus/ Junction until recent times, How can it be granted for a station in middle if there's little political representation?....Also if you want a train from kurnool, it can be started even with existing resources/ extensions from Secunderabad, why obsess with pitlines?

You need connection,.you can demand a train... Pitlines don't solve the problem if there's no will to start a train sir. Asking for an extension which is easier, demand of new train takes some efforts, MP of those regions should ask. How many train did Guntur get after a pitline? Only Rayagada express was extended to free up bza. No relation here between infra and trains, if there is will some how they will arrange.

When lines were laid during British time... Machalipatnam to Goa line was planned as meter gauge via Gnt and Chennai route was planned with broad gauge via tenali with Junction at Tadepalli
