What is the need to block traffic? Why can't they protest in a manner that does not affect the movement of trains? And AFAIK, the station is extremely busy and crowded. I do not think they can run anymore trains. They can just increase the frequency of weekly trains.

Yeh route kuch zyada hi bada nahi ho jayega? Shortest route is 2969(via Delhi-Vijayawada-Chennai Egmore-RMM). Surat se lena hai toh shortest route is 3016 (Hisar-Ahmedabad-Surat-Shoranur-Pallakad-Dindigul- RMM). Iss train ka route 3300+ lamba ho jayega, which is almost 6 hours more than the 2nd route, and 7 hours more than the 1st one) Aur iss route mein bohot baar loco-change karna padega (Ahmedabad, Akola, Gooty?).
