13352 /18189 Jo Link train hai uska bhi de linking kar diya hai woh decision achcha hai link train hone ke wajah se usko na toh LHB mein convert kar sakte the na hi usko speed up. Uske coach bhi 1997 ke the ab usko TATA-ERS bana diya aur LHB de rahe hai.

Cuddalore Port to Mayiladuthurai -Thiruvarur CRS done on 8th February 2020. But the same is not updated in the Atlas. Please Update #Atlas.
Can some tell me what difference between Doubling(patch doubling) and Doubling
Doubling means full route to be doubled , Patch doubling means only the part of route will be doubled.
For eg. Ek route jo poora single hai use double karna hai to use doubling kahenge
Jo route pehle se doubled hai lekin uske beech mein aanewale kuch sections single hai aur use double karna hai to use patch doubling kahenge.

Nowadays flight fare is cheaper than train. Due to increasing competition between Low Cost Carrier, even full fledged carrier like Air India has started offering cheap flight tickets. Fare from Coimbatore to Delhi is just Rs. 3000.
Pehle route electric hoga tab hi chalegi Rajasthan mein. Main route par to kaam sara atka hua hai.
On one hand some people shout that the government works only for rich people and on other hand everyone fights on the issue that if this XYZ politician fights from this seat she will surely allot this train. Are we still living in those 90's era.
Government knows that how their past experience was and wouldn't repeat the same mistake again and again. Now taking example of my area (Coimbatore-Chennai) Distance approx 450 kms.

First of all let me tell you introducing this train in South India especially Ernakulam, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Madurai will be waste of time because the flight fares are already cheaper and nearly all the carriers operate their flights at very cheap rate and that too with 180 seater carrier and not with ATR Alliance Air is exception.
Eg. Coimbatore- Chennai All the carriers operate their flights IndiGo, Air India, Jet Airways , Alliance Air.
Coimbatore to Hyderabad by flight is only 45 minutes and same applies Coimbatore-Colombo by Sri Lankan Airlines....

When I said you are wrong, but in this case most people need overnight train and look at the train list and availability of train from Chennai-Coimbatore and vice versa. From Coimbatore during night time there is a train to Chennai every 15-30 minutes. During peak time like Pongal, Deepawali you won't even get a seat in Intercity Express which have 1300 availability. Why a flight like IndiGo which is the only profit making airline operate Chennai-Coimbatore atleast 3-4 times a day. Because people prefer flights also on this route when trains are not available. Sometimes cost of flight is cheaper than the buses during festivals and holidays.

Vande Bharat will be hit only in high density routes, but on other hand you should see that how much passengers will travel in this train owing to the fare.
Chennai-Mysuru is already proposed.
Chennai-Ernakulam can be done but there are already many trains running and most of the people use only night train.
Even Shatabdi Express haven't gain that much value...

For your one more information the cost of flight from Chennai to Coimbatore is not even 2K. Another information flight of Air India which departs at 01.00 AM from Coimbatore to Delhi and is non stop it's regular and fixed fare is Rs.3049. But during Republic Day I booked this ticket at Rs.2628.
